Meet Our Owner

  • Michael Raia, Owner at Kings Cross Automotive in Vancouver, WA

    Michael Raia


    Michael Raia began his career in 2001 at Universal Technical Institute in Glendale Heights, IL. He graduated with a 4.0 GPA and honors. Michael was then selected to attend the Jaguar PACE Program in Orlando, FL and graduated at the top of his class with multiple factory certifications. Through the apprenticeship program, he was quickly hired as a journeyman technician at Hornburg Jaguar in Santa Monica, CA. In the following years, Michael worked for two other dealerships in Southern California — becoming ASE Certified and factory trained in Ferrari, Maserati, and Land Rover along the way. In 2010, Michael was recruited by a local independent Land Rover shop to move back to the Pacific NW (where he had grown up) and begin his career outside of the dealership. In 2014, Michael and his wife Katie were ready to fulfill their dream of becoming business owners; opening Kings Cross Automotive.

  • I was looking at a used car and needed to get a pre-purchase inspection done. Kings Cross Automotive gave me an appointment on short notice and had it all done in less than an hour. They’re nice people and helped me buy with peace of mind.

  • I had questions about noises in my 2010 XKR transmission. Rob was great in getting the car in quickly for diagnosis and follow up. Nothing wrong, but decided to do the full service oil and pan filter change based on mileage. Great technical knowledge along the way and fair pricing. Car shifts even better now. Would not hesitate to use this shop again.
